George Droyd491 opened his third recorded life anywhere on Sakhal and closed it two hours and thirty-eight minutes later, by his own hand, while still being hunted.
“He's logged three files now and the infected have never once gotten to write the last line.”
The file never had a chance of troubling his personal record, a twenty-hour stretch logged back on Livonia that this run managed at barely a tenth the length. Ten separate run-ins with the infected chipped at him along the way, one stretch of eleven hits in a single sitting dragging him down to a single point of health before he ever stabilized, and whatever was closing in at the finish never got the chance to finish the job itself. The ledger now reads three lives, zero kills, and a habit of ending things before anything else can.
