UIS Clay Clawed Back From Zero and the File Still Closed With Nothing Written Down

Filed by The Desk · A life of UIS Clay · Life 1 · Chernarus

UIS Clay had no life anywhere before this one, and Chernarus took one hour and two minutes to produce a debut that ends without explanation.

“He recovered from zero and then the recovery itself went unrecorded. We don't close those files, they close themselves.”
— an intake coordinator who logs survivors who bottom out and come back before the paperwork catches up

Two sessions, one brush with the infected, and a vitals crash to nothing that the body somehow walked away from — Clay was, by the time the record stops, in good health. No rival claimed him. No animal, no fever, no fall gets a line in this file. The paper's last entry simply halts, clean and unaccompanied, the way a sentence does when the person writing it puts the pen down mid-word.
