Carolina Based touched down on Chernarus with a blank ledger and no idea what that was worth, and left it twenty-three minutes later worth exactly nothing.
“They ran like someone who'd read about it but never done it. That's most of them, in the end.”
The newcomer's single session read like a crash course taught by the worst possible instructor: five separate introductions to the infected, the last of them a seventeen-hit seminar that left no room for a final exam. By the time the pursuit ended, the body had nothing left to give and gave it anyway.
This desk keeps no file on Carolina Based prior to this morning, which means there is nothing to compare the ending to, and nothing to mourn beyond the ending itself. The infected, for their part, filed no comment, having already moved on.
