FR0GSKIN spent ten sessions and five hours and thirteen minutes becoming the most bitten stranger Chernarus had ever admitted without a name to lose, and the record cannot say what finally stopped him.

Thirty-three separate run-ins with the infected is not a statistic so much as a relationship, and the worst of them — twenty-six hits absorbed in what the log treats as a single unbroken event — should by any reasonable accounting have been the whole obituary. It was not. Somewhere in that stretch his condition bottomed out entirely, health readings scraping the floor of what a body is generally allowed to survive, and then, against every instinct this desk has for narrative justice, he did not die there. He recovered. He kept going. Zero kills to his name across every one of those ten sessions, a man apparently uninterested in taking anything with him.
What finally closed the file five hours and thirteen minutes in, this paper cannot report, because nothing was written down. No infected, no fall, no thirst, no cold, no other man's aim. Chernarus simply stopped keeping score on him, mid-sentence, with no cause of death entered anywhere a cause of death is supposed to go. A debut like that deserved a better last line than a blank one.
