OneLife1312 arrived on Sakhal with no file anywhere on the continent and needed three separate sittings just to accumulate fifteen minutes of a single life, at the end of which the ledger simply stops.
“We have the timestamp. We do not have the sentence that follows it.”
No struggle noted. No bite, no chill, no fall, no round. The desk's health monitors logged a body in good working order right up until they logged nothing at all, which is its own kind of headline in a line of work that usually has an easy answer.
Zero kills, zero contacts, three sessions spent apparently just getting settled — and then the settling was over, permanently, for reasons the paper cannot supply and will not invent. Sakhal has a long tradition of killing newcomers loudly. This is not that story.
