The name promised a hunter. The ledger recorded a carcass, logged across two sessions and closed before the twenty-minute mark, no kills to his name and none of the credit implied by the callsign.
“We get maybe one 'Hunter' or 'Slayer' a week who never lands a shot. This one didn't even get to miss.”
Four separate engagements with the infected are on file for this debut, the worst of them an eleven-hit mauling that dragged him down to less than half of himself before he ever found his feet again. He did find them, briefly, healing back up before whatever found him next finished the arithmetic the first swarm started. Two sessions, zero kills, one bleed-out — a career that never got past the paperwork stage.
No prior life exists anywhere on this or any continent, which means the record has nothing to compare this to and mercifully doesn't need to. He walked into Chernarus wearing a hunter's name and walked out as testimony to the fact that the map does not read gamertags before it decides who eats whom.
