The file shows fifteen prior lives across every map this desk covers, a longest stretch of one day and two hours logged elsewhere, and a habit of closing his own account that predates this continent by a wide margin. His most recent death, wherever it happened, was also self-inflicted. His best run was on Sakhal, which remains, for now, the high-water mark of a career the paper has been filing under the same cause of death with tedious regularity.
