LELIN8692 arrived on these shores for the first time in any recorded history and departed twenty-four minutes later with a body that had reached zero of everything and a cause of death that the paper simply does not have.
“We logged the fire. We logged the infected. We logged zero health. Nobody logged why.”
The tale that can be told: two separate scuffles with the infected, one of which required seven hits to settle whatever needed settling, and a fire that found the newcomer and did not let go quietly. What happened after that is not written anywhere. The vitals crashed to nothing, the session ended, and the record — usually so eager to name a mechanism, however embarrassing — offers only a blank line where a cause should sit.
This was a debut. No priors, no history, no reputation to protect or ruin. Chernarus took a stranger who had never died anywhere before and returned him to the ledger as a statistic with a hole in the middle of it. The coroner's office, such as it is, has nothing further to add.
