RonaldRaygun552 clawed back from a health total the paper's ledger records simply as zero, survived the worst of fourteen separate maulings, and then, fully healed and presumably feeling invincible, stepped off something and died anyway.
“He'd survived the hard part. Nobody told him the ground was still hiring.”
The infected did their part. Fourteen times they closed on Raygun, and fourteen times he walked away, the last encounter reportedly leaving him clinically closer to a corpse than a person. He nursed himself back to full health over the balance of one hour and forty-five minutes, a genuine achievement for a man whose file across four prior lives shows zero confirmed kills and a signature move of simply ending things himself. This time the record shows something novel: a death that wasn't suicide, wasn't PvP, and required no zombie at all. Gravity did what eleven documented lives of infected, wolves, and other survivors apparently could not — it didn't even have to try.
